  • We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our maintenance team in a fixed plant environment.

As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of critical plant equipment, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical information and apply it to real-world scenarios.

You will work closely with other tradespeople and operational teams to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.

About the Role

  • Inspecting work areas and plants for hazards, damage, or defects
  • Examining drawings, manuals, or specifications to determine work methods and sequence of activities
  • Diagnosing faults or breakdowns and estimating time and materials required to complete jobs
  • Undertaking repairs or component change-outs as required
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools and work areas
  • Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment
  • Training other personnel or apprentices (if required)

Requirements

  • Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Boilermaker's license)
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining industry
  • A current manual WA class C driver's licence
  • Confined Space and Working at Heights permits
  • Rigger / Dogman ticket (preferable)
  • Basic / Intermediate scaffolding ticket an advantage (or willing to undertake training towards this)
  • Licenced to operate HRL fork truck/ telehandler / EWP (preferable)
  • CN license and HR license (preferable)
  • Self-motivated, demonstrating initiative to extend themselves and expand their knowledge
  • First Aid Certificate (preferable)
