Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and capable professional to join our Commercial Marine and State Waters team in managing the Department's River Murray ferry operations contracts.

This unique opportunity involves overseeing a broad range of operational responsibilities, including coordinating fuel deliveries, traffic surveys, and the management of ferry huts and signage assets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient services that meet community and departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing ferry operations contracts to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Coordinating fuel deliveries, traffic surveys, and ferry maintenance to minimize disruptions
  • Engaging with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive service improvements and cost savings
  • Providing specialist technical advice on marine-based contracts to support business growth
