About the ProjectWe are currently working on the Asset, Renewals and Replacement Program (ARRP) with WaterNSW, where we will deliver multi-disciplinary packages across regional New South Wales and Greater Sydney. The scope of the project is vast and includes civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical minor capital works and rehabilitation.
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this program. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating site personnel and subcontractors, driving successful project outcomes, and ensuring the safety of our people.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a multidisciplinary team and foster a positive work environment.
- Manage plant, labour, and subcontractors, and oversee all construction activities.
- Conduct daily pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox talks.
- Develop and implement Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) to ensure the safety of our people.
- Perform inspections to identify and manage potential risks.
- Prepare project reports, including budget and program updates.
- Relevant trade qualifications.
- Proven leadership experience with a strong commitment to safety.
- In-depth knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and automation systems, with the ability to manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with these systems.
- Ability to set realistic productivity expectations and hold subcontractors accountable for achieving them.
- Demonstrated experience in managing quality expectations with the confidence to evaluate work and ensure it meets Abergeldie standards.
- Willingness to travel to regional NSW and work in remote areas as required.
- Natural problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex projects.
