Job Title: Medical Professional Wanted for Remote Healthcare Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced medical professional to join our team in the Surat Basin area of Queensland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients in a challenging and rewarding remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver primary and emergency health care, including advanced life support and trauma management.
  • Conduct daily medical clinics, manage injuries and illnesses, and facilitate return-to-work planning.
  • Liaise with internal and external healthcare providers for medevacs and specialist referrals.
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing, health surveillance, and facilitate health assessments.
  • Facilitate health-related training programs and maintain medical facilities and equipment to a high standard.
  • Promote workplace health initiatives and deliver training sessions aligned with health strategies.
  • Uphold all health, safety, and environmental requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) and CPR Certification.
  • Trauma Qualification (e.g., PHTLS or TNCC).
  • Current certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing (HLTPAT005 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in remote or resource sector health service delivery is highly regarded.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage in multidisciplinary team settings.
