Job Opportunity: Operator - PbSm

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining plant hygiene and cleanliness, performing routine checks and cleaning up spills. Additionally, they will supply tools and equipment to plant areas, operate machinery such as crow bars, hammers, and jackhammers, and run fluxes and other materials.

This role offers excellent opportunities for hands-on individuals who are keen to develop and learn new skills within a dynamic team environment. The position is residentially based in Mount Isa, with a 4 Days on 4 Off 4 Nights on 4 Off Roster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain plant hygiene and cleanliness
  • Perform routine checks and clean up spills
  • Supply tools and equipment to plant areas
  • Operate machinery such as crow bars, hammers, and jackhammers
  • Run fluxes and other materials

Applicants should possess self-motivation, flexibility, and a high standard of work, as well as a proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement. Sound communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, along with the ability to work effectively within a small team.

A current Australian manual driver's license and mobile equipment tickets would be an advantage. Previous industrial experience is highly regarded.
