About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Fleet team based at Noble Park. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading provider of emergency roadside assistance, towing, and transport solutions in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission new vehicles into our fleet, ensuring they meet Nationwide's standards and requirements.
  • Perform minor repair and maintenance work on our current fleet, utilizing your diagnostic skills and experience.
  • Review suppliers and parts to ensure quality and costs meet Nationwide's standards.
  • Order parts nationally as required, adhering to Nationwide's policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular fleet audits to ensure all vehicles meet Nationwide's standards and requirements.
  • Participate in Annual Vehicle Inspection and Audits as required.
Requirements
  • Diesel Mechanic qualification.
  • HR truck license.
  • Proven diagnostic skills and experience.
  • Strong auto electrical experience and skills (auto electrician qualification desirable but not mandatory).
  • Good written, verbal, and computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc).
