Are you a seasoned project leader looking to take on a new challenge in civil construction? We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager to join our team as the Civil and Road Rehabilitation Operations Manager.

">About the Role
  • As the Civil and Road Rehabilitation Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple civil projects across metro and regional areas in Western Australia.
">Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Plan, manage, and execute road rehabilitation and civil works projects from initiation to completion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, project schedules, and contract compliance to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate plant, resources, and procurement needs to support project execution.
  • Client Relationships: Build strong relationships with clients, particularly local councils, to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare project reports, cost reviews, and technical updates to stakeholders.
">Requirements
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
  • Proven experience managing civil projects, particularly in roadworks, drainage, earthworks, pavements, and/or asphalt is required.
  • Experience delivering projects on time and within budget is essential.
  • Familiarity with asphalt and concrete materials is desirable.
  • Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams is critical.
  • Excellent communication - written and verbal skills are necessary.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring ability is required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capability is necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is critical.
  • Calm, professional approach under pressure is essential.
  • Strong commercial awareness and conflict resolution skills are required.
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card) and Current Driver's Licence are mandatory.
