Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our front of house team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant located in a prestigious winery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a high-performing front of house team to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality dining experiences.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regular clientele and ensure their needs are met.
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and resources to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including RSA certification.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end dining environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible approach to meet changing demands.
  • Neat and tidy presentation, with a strong attention to detail.
