Job Title: Inventory Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Inventory Specialist to join our Merchandise Buying team. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a genuine contribution to our success story.

This role involves providing support to the Inventory Analysts and Category Managers in all inventory-related activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and managing Bills of Lading for purchase orders
  • Sending purchase orders to suppliers
  • Monitoring purchase order status
  • Maintaining and updating purchase order registers
  • Following up invoices and CP information
  • Generating reports and assisting the Inventory Analysts with analysis
  • Acting on transfers in stock management systems
  • Liaising with category teams to manage and maintain inventory metrics

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • Previous administrative experience in a Merchandise/Inventory environment
  • Knowledge/experience of retail operations
  • A high level of numeracy skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Data entry skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (excluding Access)
  • Problem-solving skills and time management
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
