Job Description

The Salvation Army is a leading provider of homelessness services across Australia, committed to affording dignity and respect to every person.

This role offers the opportunity to oversee daily operations of Community Outreach Support Services in WA Homelessness Stream, comprising Independent Living Units, Family Accommodation Program, and Street to Home Service.

  • Maintain collaborative working partnerships within the Outreach Support Services leadership team.
  • Approve or reject client applications in consultation with relevant project teams.
  • Develop, review, and update team members' case plans.
  • Gather statistics for reporting purposes.
  • Develop productive relationships within the team and contribute to quality team performance and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff and manage day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor and report on service delivery and improvement.
  • Develop and implement capability development plans for the team.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Social Welfare, or related field.
  • Relevant experience in a social service environment, including supervising staff.
  • National police record check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Current WA Driver's license.
  • First Aid Certificate with CPR.
