Job Summary
Hindmarsh is seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction activities, collaborating with the Project Manager and Site Manager to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate on-site construction activities, including subcontractors, labor, and material delivery, to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.
- Oversee the quality and progress of subcontractors' work, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
- Liaise with subcontractors to resolve any issues or concerns, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Participate in the development and management of the project in accordance with the Project Management Plan, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the scope associated with the contract documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Safety, Quality, and Environmental (SQE) policies and compliance with Hindmarsh's Management Systems.
- Manage site issues and subcontractors in accordance with the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the construction industry, with a trade background preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
- Hold a White Card, First Aid, and Fire Warden certification.
