Aveo, a leader in retirement living with 30 years of experience, is seeking a skilled Senior Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Redlands by the Retirement Resort.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the resort's gardens, grounds, buildings, and fixtures are well-maintained, presentable, and safe for all to enjoy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
  • Maintain all village gardens, including weeding, mowing, hedging, pruning, mulching, and green waste removal.
  • Ensure all community spaces are appealing and safe for our community and visitors.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules.
  • Complete additional ad-hoc tasks delegated by Community Leaders.
Requirements
  • A warm and caring personality with an interest in making a difference every day.
  • Experience in general maintenance roles or possess 'handy' domestic repair skills (highly desired).
  • Experience in gardening duties (highly desired).
  • A valid driver's licence (required).
  • Two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required).
