Occupational Therapist Opportunity in Mount Isa

We are seeking an experienced or new graduate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Mount Isa. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with a dedicated team of allied health professionals to deliver holistic, client-focused care.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Longreach/Mount Isa office. You will have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to the growth and success of our organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA. They will also have a current, unrestricted C Class Driver's Licence (manual preferred) and the right to live and work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help clients participate more fully in daily life and community activities
  • Conduct functional assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Recommend and implement environmental modifications and assistive technology
  • Provide education and guidance to families, carers, teachers, and employers
  • Deliver early childhood supports and promote healthy living initiatives
