Key Responsibilities- Implement tailored educational programs to meet the individual needs of young people, focusing on literacy and numeracy skills.
- Work closely with the young person's care team, including carers, case managers, school staff, and other professionals.
- Develop and implement individual learning plans for children and young people who have experienced significant educational disruption and complex psychological and social needs.
- Use educational assessment tools and data to inform planning and practice.
- Manage stressful situations, monitor own stress levels, and practice self-care strategies.
- Tertiary qualification in Education.
- Current FULL VIT registration.
- Minimum of 4 years teaching experience.
- Ability to develop and implement individual learning plans for children and young people with complex needs.
- Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, understanding how trauma affects learning.
- Ability to thrive in a changing environment with competing priorities.
- $107,000 plus 11.5% Superannuation.
