Locum Consultant Psychiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to fill a temporary position in Latrobe.

  • This role offers the opportunity to work as a Locum Consultant Psychiatrist in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth of our team.
About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical expertise and leadership to our team, while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

  • This is a fixed-term position, commencing on 18 August 2025 and concluding on 16 November 2025.
Key Responsibilities
  1. To provide high-quality medical services to patients, adhering to professional standards and guidelines.
  2. To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  3. To participate in clinical governance activities, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
  4. To maintain accurate records and reports, meeting relevant legislative requirements.
Requirements
  • Registration as a Specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner's Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Assessment completed by The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
  • Australia working rights
