Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned expert to spearhead our privacy initiatives. As a Senior Privacy Professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining a robust privacy framework for our organization.

This role is based in Sydney or Melbourne and requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide authoritative guidance and support on privacy and data-related matters to stakeholders across our organization.
  • Lead the enhancement of a comprehensive privacy framework to ensure compliance with relevant privacy laws and regulations.
  • Develop and deliver privacy compliance training programs and incident management protocols.
  • Monitor and oversee privacy practices to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Experienced privacy professional with proven leadership exposure in regulatory compliance or legal, preferably in the Australian financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory obligations and ability to interpret and apply associated legislative requirements.
  • Ability to rapidly analyze and communicate complex matters in a commercially sensible way.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
