Job DescriptionAs a Quality Assurance Specialist - Food Safety at Evolve Scientific, you will be responsible for driving food safety, quality, and continuous improvement within our client's fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will work with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with regulations and site procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate cleaning and sanitation programs to maintain the highest levels of HACCP and GMP.
- Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Direct involvement in internal and external audits, ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
• Maintaining accurate documentation and preparing reports as required
• Ensuring all production staff are trained in food safety procedures
• Staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and standards related to food safety and quality control
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize operational efficiency

Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related discipline
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment (desired)
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Australian standards
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
