Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Vac Truck Operator to join our team based in Moranbah. The successful candidate will have a strong background in vacuum excavation and heavy rigid vehicle operation, with a focus on safe working practices and a proactive approach to tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-start inspections on all equipment operated
  • Complete daily work sheets and submit to the site supervisor for approval and invoicing
  • Participate in the development of site-specific job safety analyses and review and sign authority to work and permit to work documents
  • Contribute to daily pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
  • Report incidents or hazards to the supervisor and complete personal risk assessments
Requirements
  • Standard 11 certificate dated within the previous 5 years
  • Experience in vacuum excavation and heavy rigid vehicle operation
  • Current RII competency in vacuum excavation and heavy rigid vehicle operation
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment
