About the Role
This position involves developing Discrete Event Simulation (DES) models for communications networks to inform Defence procurement and optimise network performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong client engagement skills and in-depth knowledge of the Communications domain.

Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand use cases and define performance metrics
- Utilise simulation software to model communications network scenarios
- Develop low-fidelity Discrete Event Simulation models
- Work closely with Defence stakeholders to refine requirements and metrics based on real-world needs

Requirements
- Strong background in systems or software engineering
- Experience with modelling within a Defence environment
- Excellent understanding of the Communications domain
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- NV1 security clearance
