Job Summary:

Ardent Leisure Group is seeking a skilled Show Technician to join our Entertainment team on a casual basis. As a Show Technician, you will be responsible for providing quality and reliable AV services across both Dreamworld and WhiteWater World.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all park audio visual requirements by providing technical expertise and assistance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Operate and maintain audio visual systems including sound desks, Artnet DMX control, and lighting programming.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose faults with electronic equipment to component level, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality events and experiences, including external event operations and bump in/out tasks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
  • Work autonomously and under pressure to prioritize tasks effectively and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience in audio visual roles, with a strong understanding of technical systems and equipment.
  • Excellent trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ability to work at heights and with electrical equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Flexibility with working hours to accommodate weekend, late night, and public holiday shifts.
