Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy Officer to join our team at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. As a key member of our policy team, you will contribute to whole-of-system thinking and the delivery of important initiatives related to forecasting demand for children and families services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide authoritative advice, reasoned recommendations, and innovative solutions to complex and sensitive issues based on comprehensive research.
  • Develop policy initiatives that meet government and departmental objectives within resourcing, timeline, and budget parameters.
  • Undertake data analysis and modelling to support strategic reform, budget strategy, and social investment directions.
