Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Property Strategies: Develop and implement effective strategies for the ongoing management and optimization of our property portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs.
  • Conduct Regular Reviews and Assessments: Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure that our property portfolio is aligned with our organizational goals and community needs.
  • Prepare Business Cases and Financial Forecasts: Prepare business cases, financial forecasts, and performance reports related to property transactions and investment projects.
  • Oversee Land Sub-Division Process: Oversee and coordinate the land sub-division process, ensuring compliance with local government regulations and policies.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the sub-division process.
  • Maintain Knowledge of Legislation: Maintain a working knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations governing property management, acquisitions, and disposals within a local government or similar environment.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications (AQF level 7 or above) in a relevant discipline (law, property, valuation, property economics); and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of Legislation: Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and policies governing property management, acquisitions, and disposals within a local government or similar environment.
  • Experience in Property Management: Experience developing and executing property strategies that support long-term asset planning and portfolio optimization.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Highly developed written skills with experience in preparing business cases, developing strategies, reports, briefs, submissions, relating to the commercial portfolio.
  • Well-Developed Communication Skills: Well-developed communication and engagement skills.
  • Current Driver's Licence: Current Class C Driver's Licence.
