About the Role

This senior leadership position plays a pivotal role in driving forward-thinking research and evaluation initiatives within the Gaming and Liquor branch. Reporting to the Director, you will lead a team of research specialists in building an evidence base to inform responses to gambling harm.

Applying a public health framework, this role supports the development, application, and distillation of the evidence base to contribute to strategic matters and projects across the business unit and portfolio.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of research specialists to build the evidence base for gambling harm responses.
  • Oversee the strategic development of gambling harm research and evaluation funding streams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the meaningful translation of research knowledge into practice.
