About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Programs Officer or Policy Officer to join our System Stewardship Directorate. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of policy initiatives that support early childhood education and care in NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management and support services to contribute to the development and delivery of policy initiatives.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committee meetings, and stakeholder consultations to support engagement and policy development.
  • Undertake research and collate information for reporting, monitoring, and evaluation purposes to contribute to the achievement of policy outcomes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
  • A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience in program and project management, or policy development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shape and drive discussions with stakeholders.
  • Experience in the early childhood education and care sector would be highly regarded.
