Job Title: Cyber Security Threat Manager Job Description:We are seeking a passionate and driven cyber security threat and vulnerability manager to lead our proactive identification and mitigation of threats. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex threat and vulnerability management programs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the proactive identification and mitigation of threats by analysing cyber intelligence and coordinating risk-based remediation.
  • Collaborate on threat hunting and vulnerability validation to ensure a robust security posture and minimize cyber-attack exposure.
  • Develop and implement processes for scanning, assessing, contextualising, prioritising, and remediating vulnerabilities.
  • Actively monitor threat intelligence to spot emerging risks and collaborate with various teams to drive a risk-based approach to remediation.
  • Evaluate and recommend vulnerability scanning tools, databases, and exploit frameworks like CVSS and CVE.
  • Communicate threat information and remediation plans effectively to all stakeholders.
 Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex threat and vulnerability management programs.
  • Ability to analyse threat intelligence, pinpoint relevant threats, and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Strong grasp of risk management to assess and prioritise vulnerabilities based on impact and exploitability.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools, databases, and exploit frameworks like CVSS and CVE.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with diverse stakeholders and convey complex technical information clearly.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest cyber threats, industry best practices, and relevant security frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
