We require an experienced medical professional with expertise in liver transplantation, hepatology, and gastrointestinal medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting research, and participating in education and training programs.

The selected applicant will have primary expertise in liver transplant hepatology and a strong track record as a clinical leader in research, education, and research supervision. They will take a strategic lead in planning and directing research and teaching programs related to gastroenterology, hepatology, and liver transplantation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality patient care in the RPAH Liver Transplant Unit
  • Conducting research in liver transplantation, hepatology, and gastrointestinal medicine
  • Participating in education and training programs
  • Taking a strategic lead in planning and directing research and teaching programs

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognized qualifications in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
