Exercise Physiologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Exercise Physiologist to join our team at the Exercise Medicine Research Institute, located at the Joondalup Campus of Edith Cowan University.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering exercise intervention programs and services to meet the needs of our diverse clients. You will have experience in developing and managing exercise programs, industry-based experience, and the ability to contribute to the development of the research profile of the Institute.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, implement, facilitate, and coordinate exercise physiology programs and consulting on an individual and group basis.
  • Contribute to the development of the research profile of the Institute, including an understanding of the research process, ethical, compliance, and quality issues.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to develop and deliver world-leading exercise programs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and registration and accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).
  • Registration with Medicare and the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Provider.
  • Current knowledge of the public and private health context of allied health services and in particular, intervention, in Western Australia.
