Job Overview

The Vice President, Strategic Sourcing is responsible for leading the development and implementation of global supply chain strategies. This role will oversee clinical and commercial supply chains, ensuring alignment with FDA/EMA standards, cold chain logistics protocols, and enterprise-wide risk management frameworks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global supply chain strategies to support product launches, lifecycle transitions, and business continuity.
  • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation (MSAs/SOWs), and performance oversight in partnership with legal teams to ensure risk mitigation, compliance, and contract consistency.
  • Ensure full compliance with FDA, EMA, GMP, GCP, GDP, and SOX regulations across all supply chain activities, including vendor compliance.
  • Maintain audit readiness and lead internal/external audits, CAPA processes, and quality system reviews.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control systems to ensure traceability, documentation integrity, and regulatory alignment.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, supply chain and manufacturing operations.
  • Deep expertise in regulatory compliance, clinical supply chain planning, and cold chain logistics.
  • Proven leadership in biotech, pharmaceutical, or high-tech R&D and manufacturing environments.
