Library Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Library Technician to join our Junior School Library team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting the delivery of library services and resources, and contributing to the efficient operation of the library.

• Provide high-quality customer service to students, staff, and parents
• Assist with the maintenance of library collections, including cataloging, shelving, and weeding
• Support the development and implementation of library programs and services
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate library resources into curriculum
• Contribute to the creation of a welcoming and inclusive library environment

• Strong understanding of library services and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Intermediate to advanced IT skills
• Experience working in a school library or similar environment
