Asset Management Director

This is a key leadership position within the Asset Management Division, reporting to the Executive Director. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and improve asset management practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a branch of the Division, ensuring effective leadership and people management.
- Manage programs within budget and ensure policy and program settings are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Deliver three key programs: Small Schools Program, Asset Information Management System, and Technical Leadership Coaches.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, particularly with schools and other areas of the Department.
- Ensure robust governance, financial, and risk management for areas of responsibility.
- 10+ years of experience in high-level programmatic or infrastructure/stakeholder roles.
- Proven expertise in change management and strategic adaptation.
- Experience in governance, financial, and risk management.
- Skilled in providing strategic advice to senior executives and government officials.

About the Victorian School Building AuthorityThe Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) is part of the Department of Education. We also support schools to maintain their buildings and grounds by offering expert advice and coordinating maintenance programs and grants.
