We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse on a permanent full-time basis at Mater Private Hospital Mackay. This role will have a strong Surgical component with an interest in Women's Health and Paediatrics.
Mater Mackay has been providing excellence in clinical and pastoral care to the community since 1927. Our hospital is a modern 105-bed facility featuring five operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services.

Salary: $49.88-$53.43 per hour (RN Level 2) plus superannuation.
Job DescriptionThe Clinical Nurse (CN) position provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of clients with complex care needs. The CN works autonomously within the relevant healthcare team specialty and structure, ensuring quality standards are met.
This role requires the ability to work within a collegiate healthcare team structure and be aware of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current registration with AHPRA as a Division 1 Registered Nurse;
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse in the applicable healthcare team speciality;
- Advanced level clinical and problem-solving skills;
- Planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of patient care;
- Ability to work within a collegiate healthcare team structure;
- Awareness of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards;
