Empower Children to Thrive through Swimming
The Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre (GRAC) is a state-of-the-art aquatic centre that offers a range of facilities, including pools and a fully-equipped gym with modern workout equipment. As an Aquatic Education Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering lesson plans that promote swimming skill building in school-aged children.
This casual role offers a competitive hourly rate starting at $32.25 + super & Y Benefits. You will be responsible for structuring and designing lessons that challenge and develop students' swimming and water safety abilities, recommending students for level progression as appropriate, and teaching effective problem-solving skills and conflict resolution.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for teaching children to swim, provide excellent customer service to parents and students, and be motivated and committed to performing to a high standard. Essential qualifications include HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Accredited Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (AUSTSWIM or equivalent).
