Senior Mental Health ClinicianMelton Position Overview

As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will lead and support the Access Team at headspace Melton, providing day-to-day operational management and supervision. This role involves driving service development initiatives and engaging in community outreach to raise awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Proven experience in providing leadership, supervision, and mentorship within a multidisciplinary team, guiding clinicians to deliver high-quality care.
  • Mental Health Expertise: Extensive experience in mental health assessments, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and evidence-based treatment for young people facing mental health or substance use challenges.
  • Service Development: Drive service development initiatives and engage in community outreach to raise awareness about mental health services.
What You'll Need
  • Approved Qualifications: Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing, and full registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration with AASW.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leadership and supervision roles, with a track record of guiding clinicians to deliver high-quality care.
  • Mental Health Expertise: Extensive experience in mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and evidence-based treatment for young people.
