Job Overview

Civeo seeks a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager to lead and support retail operations across our village locations in Queensland and New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide retail support to village management teams, ensuring effective management of retail operations.
  2. Develop and train staff in retail operations, including POS systems, stock ordering, and customer service.
  3. Implement training programs to ensure all staff are up-to-date with the latest retail practices.
  4. Work in shop and/or bar as required, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  5. Communicate changes or updates to work instructions, rosters, or policies effectively.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Business Management or at least 5 years' experience in a retail management role.
  • Hold current Qld Driver's Licence, Forklift Licence (preferable), RMLV certificate, RSG certificate, RSA certificate.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in retail stock-control and POS, preferably Micros Materials Control.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a high standard of personal discretion and confidentiality.

What You Will Need To Do
  1. Conduct full stock-take of all Bowen Basin retail outlets every three months, and all NSW and WA outlets every six months.
  2. Thoroughly investigate all variances and report on findings to Village Manager and GM Operations Support.
  3. Assist with compiling monthly retail operation reports.
  4. Monitor and maintain stock control and POS systems, ensuring each village's Materials Control system is kept up to date.
