About the role

This role involves routine troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and maintenance on air conditioning systems, chillers, and other commercial equipment. Chiller experience is highly regarded, and training is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working for a global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), you will report directly to the Branch Manager and be provided with opportunities for growth and development.
  • As a member of a small but dynamic local team, you will be focused on delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer service expectations.
  • You will be involved in growing sales, increasing market share, and improving net profitability.
  • Works under direct supervision to perform on-site field service directly to customers regarding installing, updating, operating, maintaining, repairing, and removing of equipment to meet customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • You will have experience in the HVAC industry and the ability to work flexible hours as needed, including participating in an on-call roster.
  • You will have a high level of communication skills (oral and written), knowledge of quality assurance procedures, and the ability to take ownership of problems following through to resolution.
  • You will be a self-motivated individual who is proactive, professional, punctual, well-presented, and has a can-do attitude.
  • You will be able to work unsupervised as part of a close-knit team and be dedicated to high-quality EH&S and ethical standards.
  • You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience with HVAC systems and comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
  • You will hold certificate qualifications in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and an Air-conditioning and Refrigeration licence.
  • You will have a current and valid Australian driver's licence.
