Role Overview
We seek an experienced Building Project Manager to oversee a range of refurbishment projects worth between $2m - $15m in our Aviation Sector, based out of Melbourne Airport.
Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for closing out final design requirements, engaging with contractors and consultants, managing the construction/delivery phase of the projects, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and overseeing contract management, variations, and claims.
Candidate Profile
To succeed in this role, you'll need demonstrated experience delivering capital works building projects, potentially from airports, commercial, industrial, civic and culture, education, health, or other complex sectors.
You'll also require:
- Experience delivering service upgrades and refurbishments
- Experience delivering building structure upgrades and refurbishments
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with busy stakeholders
- High attention to detail and customer-focused mindset
- A willingness to work with team members and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients
- Qualifications in project management, engineering, construction, architecture, or related disciplines
