Plumbing Instructor

Are you passionate about teaching plumbing skills?

We are looking for a dedicated educator to join our team as a full-time Plumbing Teacher.

As a member of our faculty, you will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality teaching programs, resources, and learning experiences that cater to the needs of students pursuing qualifications in plumbing.

The successful candidate will possess relevant industry experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, develop, and evaluate teaching programs and resources that meet the needs of students.

- Maintain accurate records and teach students within the plumbing area as scheduled.

- Develop student learning packages, projects, and associated materials by design and continual evaluation.

- Participate in departmental meetings and liaise with industry and community organisations as directed.

- Identify and introduce strategies to assist students with learning difficulties and enhance the overall student experience and outcomes.

- Ensure vocational competence is maintained for all areas of teaching.

- Participate and be active in marketing and student acquisition programs.

Requirements:

- A relevant degree, diploma, or trade certificate relevant to the plumbing industry.

- A minimum of two years' experience as a qualified plumber and current plumbing industry commission license.

- Demonstrated ability to work in teams and capacity to plan, meet agreed deadlines in the completion of duties.
