The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Senior Associate to join our high-performing Employment, Industrial Relations, and Safety (EIRS) team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with leading partners and undertake a range of work that supports and advises blue-chip clients across multiple sectors on employment law, industrial relations, and safety matters.

You will be responsible for running matters, supervising and developing team members, and playing an important role in developing further business opportunities with existing and new clients. This is an exciting opportunity to continue developing your experience and being part of a collaborative local, national, and global team.

To Be Successful in This Role

You will have:

  • Experience as a Senior Associate delivering advice on a range of employment law and industrial relations matters from a leading top-tier private practice, government, or in-house environment;
  • An excellent academic record, strong communication, and teamwork skills;
  • A hunger to learn and develop, and maintain a market-leading practice;
  • Strong skills and experience in providing strategic advice on workforce strategy, enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes, industrial action, regulatory, and compliance advice, and all types of Fair Work Commission and Court proceedings;
  • Advocacy skills are desirable but not essential;
  • Experience in providing employment aspects of large-scale M&A transactions;

Estimated salary for this position is approximately $180,000 - $250,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances.
