Rostering Officer

Accurate and efficient roster creation is essential for the success of our collector network. This role involves utilising a computerised rostering system to create rosters that are available at least six weeks in advance.

  • Create and maintain staff profiles in Workforce Dimensions to reflect position, hours, award, area, and shift.
  • Enter data accurately and on time in Workforce Dimensions.
  • Action updates or changes to rosters due to personal leave, shift swap requests, or unforeseen requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely roster information is communicated to staff.
  • Manage communications effectively to provide accurate and appropriate information if requested.
  • Monitor casual employees' availability, declined shifts, and variability of areas/shifts worked.
  • Utilise Reliever Collectors to their full extent within the most efficient radius of their nominated hub.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience with electronic rostering systems, preferably Kronos Work Force Dimensions.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in the health industry.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to adapt communication style based on the audience's needs.
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload and multi-task to ensure work requirements are completed within expected timeframes.
  • Minimum 2 years rostering experience preferred.
