Role Overview

CPC Engineering is seeking a skilled Rigger to join our team of professionals who support clients in maximizing efficiency, productivity, and safety in their operations.

The success of our projects relies on a collaborative approach, and as a Rigger, you will have the opportunity to work closely with qualified tradespeople to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities

As a Rigger, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and use of rigging gear, including cables, ropes, slings, pulleys, and winches, to lift, lower, move, or position machinery, structural steel, and other heavy loads.

You will primarily work outdoors on mine and construction sites, but may also work on other sites as directed.

Additionally, you will drive the maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace and ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Recognized qualification in Rigging (High Risk Work License with SB, SI, or SA endorsement)
  • Valid Working at Heights certificate issued within the last 18 months
  • Previous experience in an engineering or mining environment
  • Recognized training in a mechanical discipline, with evidence of achievement
  • Ability to handle a wide range of basic mechanical tasks and work independently or as part of a team
  • Maintain a high standard of physical fitness, with the ability to lift moderately heavy items
  • Ability to work in remote locations
  • Current WA drivers' license; a HR License is preferable but not essential
