Senior Security Professional

The successful Security Specialist will be responsible for ensuring security operations meet contractual deliverables and service level agreements (SLAs). This includes providing expert support across various activities, such as implementing customer requests, supporting project design and installations, incident and problem management, reporting, and assisting senior team members.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing Application Allowlisting configurations, conducting software vulnerability assessments, and performing upgrades and patching as required. Additionally, the Security Specialist will test, implement, monitor, and tune security software/hardware to ensure optimal performance and proactively highlight potential issues.
Other key tasks include creating and maintaining documentation and work instructions for security services, troubleshooting and resolving issues impacting security system availability, performance, capacity, and utilization in line with SLAs. The Security Specialist will also analyze traffic data and recommend improvements to security infrastructure, provide security consultation to customers, including risk management and mitigation strategies, and deliver onsite support to customers and field staff in resolving system and application-related issues.
