Senior Legal Counsel Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our high-performing legal team on a 12-month contract.

The successful candidate will work closely with Directors and GMs in each region, partnering with the business as one of our key legal and strategic advisers.

About This Role
  • Require a Senior Legal Counsel with 6-10+ years experience in front-end Construction Law from an Australian law firm or large corporate environment.
  • The ideal candidate has worked on large construction projects and can demonstrate strategic, innovative, and creative solutions, challenging the status quo.
  • Will be happy to roll up their sleeves on the legal side while providing leadership and strategic support to the business.
  • Requires solid technical skills, strong relationships with stakeholders, commercially astute advice, negotiation skills, and confidence, proactivity, and teamwork at all times.
Key Requirements & Skills
  • 6-10+ years experience in large construction projects (front-end)
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • High level of commercially astute advice
  • Negotiation skills to achieve commercial outcomes
