Electrical Apprentice Role Overview

We are currently seeking a hardworking and committed electrical apprentice to join our team. Our client is a leading technology company that specializes in electrification, robotics, automation, and motion.

The successful applicant will gain an understanding of how variable speed drives (VSDs) are used and applied within various industries including water/waste water, mining & minerals, oil & gas, and food & beverage.

As the electrical apprentice, you will spend time training online and hands-on with VSDs in our globally certified workshop. Your responsibilities will include working alongside electricians and electrical engineers, completing workshop repairs/maintenance and quotations, diagnosing failures in drive electronics, guiding electricians on setup/commissioning, and performing onsite work locally and interstate when required.

This role requires someone who is willing to learn, punctual, and organized. You will need to have a neat and presentable appearance and display general good behavior when interacting with clients. Previous industrial or domestic wiring experience is highly essential, and ability to read schematic diagrams is desirable but not essential.
