We are seeking a People & Culture Advisor to support the growth and development of our organisation. As a trusted advisor, you will play a key role in shaping our people strategy and driving positive change.

About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a HR generalist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop their skills in the people advisory space.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a strategic partner to business stakeholders on employee matters.
  • Provide expert advice on employment contracts, the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards (SCHADS, Nurses Award), and related legislation.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on HR-related topics to improve knowledge and skills.
  • Design and implement employment contracts and variations, including transitions from casual to permanency.
  • Conduct regular compliance checks, including police checks, visas, and drivers' licenses.
  • Assist with visa sponsorships and organisational charting.
  • Educate and coach leaders on HR best practices, including performance metrics and Human Resource Information Systems.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a human resources generalist with a track record of supporting performance optimisation and organisational growth.
  • Varied experience in Employment Relations and Industrial Relations issues.
  • Strong coaching skills and experience in managing Performance and Culture processes.
  • Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems and performance metrics.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office suite.
