Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Architect to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure architecture and privacy best practices across our organization. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the highest standards of data protection and security.
Key Responsibilities- Security Architecture & Privacy Best Practices: Develop and implement security architecture and privacy best practices across the organization, with a strong emphasis on data security.
- Collaboration with Key Teams: Work closely with Architects from Data Visualization, Data Analytics, Data Storage, and Global Privacy Teams to seamlessly integrate security best practices.
- Data Protection Mechanisms: Architect and engineer robust data protection mechanisms for data at rest and in transit, ensuring the security of critical information.
- Interface Integrations: Deploy security best practices for interface integrations between data origins, data lakes, data consumers, and supporting middleware.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with peers in internal organizations as well as with external partners and vendors.
- Communication & Collaboration: Work effectively with developers and engineering leaders to address and resolve security issues in a timely manner.
- Agile Environment: Thrive in an agile, dynamic, and fast-paced environment, contributing to the organization's security posture.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a computing-related discipline or relevant security-related certifications.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on architectural roles.
- Technical Knowledge: Applied knowledge of database platforms and/or public cloud services.
- Architectural Expertise: Experience across multiple architecture domains, including the implementation of security architecture in large organizations.
- Data Security Projects: Demonstrated experience in working on data security projects in previous architectural roles.
- Container-Based Architectures: Familiarity with container-based architectures and implementations such as Kubernetes, Docker, etc., is highly beneficial.
- Impactful Work: Be part of a team that directly impacts the security and privacy of our organization.
- Dynamic Team: Work in a fast-paced, agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with a diverse range of professionals and teams across the organization and beyond.
