Research Scientist Job Overview

As a global leader in animal health, we are dedicated to innovation and delivering products and services to prevent and treat disease in farm animals and pets.

  • Conduct and/or assist in coordinating biological study phases to evaluate safety, efficacy, and tolerance of compounds or vaccines.
  • Ensure studies align with external and internal guidelines such as SOPs, VICH, FDA, OECD, GxP, HSE and Animal Welfare Code of Practice.
  • Collect biological specimens and manage data for regulatory submission ensuring all data generated in studies is available presented and maintained to a standard suitable for submission to regulatory authorities.
  • Support Study Management and other operational teams as required.
  • Review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and documentation.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related scientific discipline preferably veterinary or animal science.
  • Experience: Demonstrated relevant industry experience in animal research or clinical studies.
  • Strong problem-solving analytical and organisational skills; effective written and verbal communication.

  • Experience in conducting clinical safety and technical audits.
  • Demonstrated relevant industry experience in animal research or clinical studies understanding of R&D processes and broad scientific and technical knowledge.
