**The Role**

The Specialist Support Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting NDIS participants with complex needs. This involves coordinating supports to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate access to appropriate services and develop strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Ensure supports are individualized, effective, and aligned with NDIS plans.
  • Navigate complex systems to provide expertise and guidance.
  • Help participants build skills to manage their own NDIS plan.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Allied Health).
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, working with individuals with complex support needs.
  • Professional membership (e.g., AHPRA).
  • A minimum of 5-10 years' experience managing a team to provide support to participants, families, and the organisation where required.
