About the RoleThe Sustainability Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability strategies to ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements. This role will be based in North Sydney and involve working closely with our design, procurement, and construction teams to embed sustainability into project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the project's Sustainability Management Plan to achieve environmentally friendly outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sustainability is integrated into all aspects of project delivery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to promote sustainability best practices.
- Monitor and report on key sustainability performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability management, preferably in large infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of sustainability rating schemes and standards.
- Ability to lead high-level investigations and develop risk controls and actions.
