Main Responsibilities:
  • Landscape duties, including turfing and retaining walls
  • Hard landscaping projects, such as paving, drainage, and irrigation (under supervision)
  • Timberworks, including fencing, decking, and pergolas (under supervision)
  • Operate a variety of mechanical equipment, including trailers, chainsaws, laser levels, and power tools
  • Safely operate vehicles, such as light trucks and trailers
Main Duties:
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures
  • Daily set up and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • Complete paperwork, including job sheets, variations, and logistical information
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Routinely interact with clients, answering questions and ensuring satisfaction
  • Use job management software to manage and cost jobs
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and timesheets
  • Plan and organize jobs, ensuring sufficient resources and materials
  • Maintain assigned equipment and notify management of needed repairs
Requirements:
  • Three years of landscaping experience or similar construction industry experience (highly recommended)
  • Literacy skills
  • Working knowledge of landscaping standards
  • Strong communication skills, job planning skills, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with hardscape project installation preferred
