Job Description
As a key member of the retail planning team, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and collaborating with buying, product development, and warehouse teams to meet stock demands. Your goal will be to maximise sales potential by minimising markdowns and preventing stock shortages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse sales data and trends to support informed decision-making and inventory management.
- Adjust plans and strategies to meet the changing demands of the retail environment.
- Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key retail strategies and achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- 2-5+ years of experience in merchandise planning, allocation, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a proven ability to forecast sales and manage inventory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a solid understanding of retail planning systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
